The roots of Formpart go back into the past – over 40 years ago the parent company, Otoform, was established in Istanbul.

Having started as the most knowledgeable Ford specialist in Turkey, Otoform developed a wide network of distribution in Turkey and was among the first exporters of Ford products to Western Europe. Eventually owners of Otoform have established a production plant in Istanbul and have created a brand name Formpart. Production of steering and suspension parts was launched in 1991 with other product groups to follow.

Formpart today is a renewed company with main logistics center in Istanbul, providing ex-stock delivery of over 16’000 different part numbers. Along with the steering and suspension range Formpart has also added other product groups in which Otoform has been traditionally specializing and enlarged the range with the brand new product groups.

Manufacturing expertise and creative solutions guarantee flexibility in meeting customers’ requirements (including marking, packing and customized design). Nowadays Formpart is the trusted brand in steering and suspension, renowned for consistent quality and continuous extension of product range.
